Escape from Cinema is the first volume of Zicobita, my long archive of poems and prose-poems. Written 2016–2020, while moving away from cinema — and the fixed identity of “filmmaker” — toward a wider, transdisciplinary way of seeing.

The numbered logs (১০১.১–১০৪.২) run in three movements: মহড়া, কারখানা, মড়ক. পালানোর ইশকুল, a companion cycle curated in 2026, opens the book. Bangla is primary; English notes arrive later, in the margins.
